Company

Company Vizard Ltd., the producer of Medovník Original, was established in 1996, the same year when it was registered with the Trade Register. At the beginning the company was rather small, the owners were the only employees. They actually started to sell the cake just within friends and in small amount. Later on they started to distribute to Prague. The number of orders continuously grew so the company grew too – they moved to new facility in Prague-Modrany and hired more employees too. Subsequently, premises in Modrany also became insufficient so the company finally moved to larger area in Prague-Hostivar where it is located until now. Naturally, all equipment of the manufacture there fulfils high standards.

Cake Factory

Since 2006 our company Vizard Ltd. has been using the trade name “Cake Factory”. In 2004 the company had the trademark of “Medovník Original” certified and in 2007 it was awarded by Zlatý klas (Golden Spike). Distribution of Medovník Original expanded all over the Czech and Slovak republic. We have become partners with companies like IKEA, Sodexho, Hájek a Boušová, Makro, NOWACO. Medovník Original is distributed in best hotels, restaurants, sweet-shops and cafés. Due continuous demand we have also expanded to other neighbour countries.

Medovník Original is delicate honey cake made according to ancient Slavonic recipe. Its pleasant taste can surprise even most demanding gourmets. For many people who had tasted the cake it has become much-favoured delicacy.

Serving suggestion:

Before first consumption keep the cake for one hour outside the fridge to reach room temperature. When eating the cake next time it can be served both cool or warm. Do not forget to always wrap left cake into food foil, otherwise it can get dry. Remember that the storage temperature of the cake is 1C° - 5C°.
