Annual Award „Země Živitelka“
„Medovník Original“ won the main prize Zlaty klas (Golden Spike) on trade fair Země Živitelka taking place in České Budějovice. The 34th annual exhibition Zeme Zivitelka took place this year during 23. - 28.8.2007. The exhibition is the greatest event of its kind in the Czech republic, which can be proved with audited data. Last year about 650 exhibitors and traders presented their products and services to 100,000 visitors on the area of 27,527 m2. Annually, the number of international exhibitors and traders grows, which is very positive. Last year 34 companies participated in the exhibition representing 18 countries from Europe, Asia and USA. Most exhibitors arrived from Germany, Austria and Ukraine. It became tradition that the Ministry of Agriculture, through the organizing company Výstaviště České Budějovice a.s., announces yearly competition called ZLATÝ KLAS (GOLDEN SPIKE). Awards are announced in five fields: plant production, livestock production, mechanization, agricultural equipment and services, food processing industry. This year´s exhibition of Zeme Zivitelka was dedicated to 2 independent topics: co-ops and ecology.

Serving suggestion:
Before first consumption keep the cake for one hour outside the fridge to reach room temperature. When eating the cake next time it can be served both cool or warm. Do not forget to always wrap left cake into food foil, otherwise it can get dry. Remember that the storage temperature of the cake is 1C° - 5C°.
